CONTOURA®Vision is a topography-guided laser vision correction technology based on a fundamentally different approach to diagnostics and treatment planning. Unlike standard methods, where correction is based on general refraction data, CONTOURA®Vision begins with building a detailed individual corneal map: a special scanner analyzes more than 22,000 points on the cornea’s surface, capturing even the smallest natural irregularities that go unnoticed in standard diagnostics and are not accounted for by other methods.
