- 2012Eximer Ophthalmology Clinic in Kyiv has launched orthokeratology (night vision correction or Corneal Refractive Therapy (CRT) with Paragon lenses) for treating myopia and astigmatism.

Eximer Ophthalmology Clinic has started using innovative filtering phakic lenses aimed at correcting complex refractive errors, which, unlike the previously used lenses, do not require prior treatment. The clinic trained specialists of all levels (physicians, optometrists, mid-level medical staff, managers, administrators), who, after completing their advanced training, became employees of Eximer Ophthalmology Clinic in Odesa.
- 2015Eximer Ophthalmology Clinic has decided to implant only intraocular lenses with aspheric optics by the best manufacturers to achieve the highest possible quality of vision in its patients. Eximer Ophthalmology Clinic has begun using innovative filtering phakic lenses to correct complex refractive errors, which, unlike the previously used lenses, do not require prior laser operations.
- 2017Eximer Ophthalmology Clinic has introduced the most advanced and effective method of cataract surgery, using a femtosecond laser. The new cataract treatment is distinguished by its unprecedented accuracy, maximum possible improvement of visual characteristics, and stable and predictable result. The revolutionary precision of the surgery is provided by the unique femtosecond laser system LenSx from Alcon (USA), which was developed especially for cataract surgery.
- 2018The Eximer Ophthalmology Clinic in Kyiv successfully passed internal and external audits and obtained the ISO 9001:2015 certificate, confirming compliance with international quality standards for ophthalmic services. Important milestone: the Eximer network of ophthalmology centers became part of the nationwide ophthalmology network Novyi Zir, strengthening its expert potential and supporting the implementation of advanced medical solutions. The Ukrainian-language version of the Eximer clinic website was launched, giving patients across Ukraine convenient access to information, online appointment booking, call-back requests.
- 2019The Eximer Medical Center received the Highest Accreditation Category, officially confirming the high level of medical services provided. In the year of its 20th anniversary, Eximer reaffirmed its leadership, proving that medicine can be professional, high-quality, and patient-oriented. The clinic updated its logo and corporate identity, making the brand more modern and authentic. Eximer doctors actively represented the clinic at national and international professional events, including the ESCRS Congress in Paris. A next-generation Amaris 5D-Eye LASIK excimer laser was installed at the Kyiv center, making laser vision correction even faster, more precise, and more comfortable for patients.
- 2020During the COVID-19 pandemic, the Eximer ophthalmology network continued to develop. The interior of the Kyiv clinic was completely renovated, taking into account modern safety, comfort, and patient service requirements.
- 2021Advanced laser vision correction technologies were introduced: 5D Eye LASIK, 5D SmartSurf, and 5D Presby Max, enabling highly personalized treatment by considering individual visual characteristics and eye anatomy while meeting the highest vision quality standards. 3D virtual tours of the clinics in Kyiv and Odesa were launched, making the first acquaintance with the clinics more transparent and convenient for patients. - 2022Despite the beginning of the full-scale war, the Eximer ophthalmology clinics in Kyiv and Odesa fully resumed operations as early as April. Clinic physicians continued their professional development by participating in international ESCRS congresses and national профиль conferences. A new cataract treatment method, Ultra Phaco, was implemented, increasing the precision and safety of surgical procedures. Amid missile attacks and energy blackouts, the clinics were equipped with powerful generators, ensuring uninterrupted operation independent of power outage schedules. The group of companies founded the “Pobach Peremohu” Charity Foundation, with Eximer becoming an active participant in its initiatives.
- 2023A new service line — blepharoplasty — was launched at the Eximer clinics in Kyiv and Odesa, expanding the range of comprehensive patient care services. The Eximer Telegram channel about vision was launched, creating an additional communication platform to keep patients informed. The Eximer mobile application became available on the App Store and Google Play, allowing patients to book appointments online, receive clinic updates, and participate in the loyalty program through a personal account. A pediatric ophthalmology office was opened in Brovary, enabling young patients to receive consultations from pediatric ophthalmologists and undergo hardware-based treatment close to home.
- 2024The Eximer Center in Kyiv celebrated its 25th anniversary, while the Odesa center marked 10 years since opening. In the same year, Eximer took 1st place in the ranking of TOP ophthalmology clinics in Kyiv, confirming its leadership and high level of patient trust. A highly specialized field — vitreoretinal surgery — was launched, expanding treatment options for complex retinal diseases. In cataract surgery, the innovative Clareon AutonoMe intraocular lens and delivery system were introduced, enabling procedures to be up to 30% more effective. Eximer joined the “Gift Glasses” charitable project: clinic doctors made 14 visits to geriatric care facilities, helping elderly patients maintain vision quality and quality of life.
- 2025The Eximer Clinic in Kyiv received the status of the Department of Ophthalmology of the Shupyk National Healthcare University of Ukraine, confirming its high expert and educational level. One month later, the Eximer clinic in Odesa received the same Department of Ophthalmology status. Professional tours were organized for faculty members and students of Bogomolets National Medical University, supporting knowledge exchange and the development of practical ophthalmic education. School tours were held at the clinics in Kyiv and Odesa to introduce children to ophthalmology and the work of doctors from the inside.
